RULES FOR SLOVAKIA OPEN

  • Official kata list for our tournament is here: OFFICIAL WUKF KATA LIST. (click on the link)
  • The tournament follows the rules of WUKF, with minor changes by the organizer. These will be published here and sent by the newsletter to the tournament participants.
  • By decision of the Slovak Karate Federation ExCOM, juniors can be aged into seniors and kata teams can be supplemented by (max. 1 competitor) the opposite gender.
  • Please accept these organizational changes above the WUKF Rules.
  • juniors can be aged into seniors and kata teams can be supplemented by (max. 1 competitor) the opposite gender (the team will be in category according to gender majority)
  • all kata categories are for a maximum of 2 rounds except for European tour categories
  • kata pairs family must be a parent and child relationship
  • kata pairs family are allowed to practice any style (open style category) and in both rounds they can practice tokui kata
  • a competitor can participate in both sanbon and ippon categories
